My name
is Mike Rizzo and I welcome you to my portfolio.
Presently I am self employed and operate 1 Touch
Reservations, a mobile travel and dining website. My

career experience for the past years involves managing
restaurants, marketing, database management, journalism, web
design and multimedia. Please click the grey box above

experience in oil/ gas, engineering, multimedia, marketing
(sales, advertising, and Public Relations) and hospitality
industries, my project management and marketing skills are
well verse. My unique and broad background is a strong

Career
Summary 2007 - 2011
Completing my Bachelor of Science
degree in marketing in November of 2008, celebrating one full year
in business with Web Writers International (restructured to Star
Banquets and Travel Feb, 2010), I have proven myself time and time
again in marketing, sales, business development, ability to finish a
task started and project management. My career encompasses the
creation of four businesses including the successful Star Banquets
and Travel, a catering business, banquets hall and The Green Onion
restaurant. My 25 years of marketing, admin and multimedia
experience include the oil & gas industry where I supervised a
nine-person admin staff and was responsible for all travel
reservations of a 40 man field team. Seeking to
continue my professional career, I created Web Writers International
in 2006 to
focus on developing an online marketing system and travel is one of
the broadest industries to do so. Web Writers International
was
branded as PeabodyTravel.Com, which is still an active D.B.A. and
website. Contracts awarded to Web Writers International included creating the 2008-2009 Conroe ISD menus.
From 2006 through 2008 continued working in the hospitality industry
with a shift manager position at Denny's, worked for Papadeauxs and
18 months working in the banquet department of the Wyndham.
Employment for 2008 is with RC Data Systems where I am responsible
for graphics for professional witness litigation projects pertaining to
pipeline safety. Through FERA Corporation, I was awarded a
programming contract for a Pacific Gas & Electric training program
in 2009, which was an eight month project.
Considering the average increase of traffic of 400% monthly to 1
Touch Reservations, my focus is a wait and watch for the company
while keeping the door open for contract and employment
opportunities.
